On Channel 4 (UK) very early on Christmas Eve morning was this strange underrated 1941 animated feature from Paramount Pictures. Apparently at the time of its release it got bashed primarily for not being Disney, whose animated features were the mainstay in peoples minds, coupled with the ensuing war reaching its peak. This is an unfortunate burden on the film as it doesn't get a lot of airing. Being centered on a community of insects in a big city, there are precious occasions of giant womanage to be expected. You never get to see their faces, but there are a satisfying number of giant high heels walking by, and one particular woman on whose garden Hoppity and his fellow bugs encroach upon. There is a great scene where she nearly drowns Mr. Bumble is a watering can, spots him and scoops him up with a trowel. Die-hard giantess-o-philes might have already stumbled across this one, but it doesn't appear to be in the media database, so I thought I mention it anyways. __________________
