This cover from La Vie Parisienne in 1915 depicts a lovely maiden in bed and flirting with toy zeppelins as they float overhead. Sure, nothing suggestive about that, right? Artwork by Cheri Herouard, who was a frequent contributor to 'La Vie' and a prolific illustrator during the early decades of the 20th century.
