Dorothy Provine dies

Dorothy Provine, whom giantess fans know as the title character in the film "The 30-Foot Bride of Candy Rock" (also the last film of Lou Costello) passed away from emphysema on Sunday, April 25. She was 75. Here's the New York Times obituary for her, though, of course, it says nothing of "30-Foot Bride." http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/30/arts/30provine.html?scp=1&sq=dorothy%2... Her character in "Bride" was a sort-of nice small-town girl, though she did have some scenes where she showed her anger. It's a film that, no doubt, inspired the giantess fetish in a number of young boys at the time, 1959, and afterward. __________________
